Code of Conduct for Play Pickleball Club
- Respect for Others:
Treat all members, guests, and officials with courtesy and respect.
Avoid behavior that may be perceived as intimidating, offensive, or disrespectful. - Fair Play:
Play by the rules of the game and encourage others to do the same.
Accept victory and defeat graciously, maintaining good sportsmanship at all times. - Inclusive Atmosphere:
Embrace diversity and inclusion, welcoming players of all backgrounds, ages, and skill
levels.
Avoid discriminatory language or actions. - Safety First:
Prioritize the safety of yourself and others on and around the court.
Report any unsafe conditions promptly to club officials. - Equipment Care:
Respect club equipment and facilities, using them responsibly.
Report any damaged equipment or facilities to club management. - Honesty and Integrity:
Maintain honesty in all interactions, both on and off the court.
Avoid cheating, and report any suspected violations of rules. - Communication:
Communicate openly and constructively with fellow members.
Resolve conflicts in a respectful and timely manner, seeking assistance from club officials if necessary. - Adherence to Club Policies:
Abide by all club policies and guidelines, including those related to membership, events,
and facility usage. - Responsibility for Guests:
Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests while on club premises.
Guests should adhere to the club’s code of conduct. - Community Engagement:
Participate in club events and activities, contributing positively to the overall
community.
Encourage a sense of camaraderie and friendship among club members.
Consequences for Violations:
Violations of this code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, ranging from warnings to suspension
or expulsion from the club, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense. By adhering to this code of conduct, members of Play Pickleball Club contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
